Living Sejong, Reading Sejong: Questions After One Year
2018년 5월 건축도시공간연구소 소장으로 취임 후, 그 동안 세종시민으로 겪는 일상의 도시경험을 월간 SPACE(공간지)에 연재하고 있다. 세종시로 대변되는 현상을 논리 정연한 이론 체계로 설명해내기는 어렵지만, 생활을 통해 느끼게 된 이 도시의 특이함을 파편적으로 기록하며, 우리가 그 동안 놓쳤거나 등한시 했던 여러 층위의 도시건축 질문을 새삼 다시
하고 있다.
Serving as the president of Architectural & Urban Research Institute in Sejong city since May 2018, professor So-Hyun Park has been publishing a series of articles, titled 「Living Sejong, Reading Sejong: Questions After One Year」 in SPACE, a respected architectural magazine. She tells us her daily living experiences of Sejong, a uniquely planned new town in Korea. The articles aim to re-illuminate issues and questions represented in Sejong phenomena, which we might have overlooked while going through our fast city-building cultures.
