We study the Hi-performance material technology & structural engineering that support the collaboration between nature and structures. The research topics covered in the Hi-performance Structural Engineering Laboratory (HpSE Lab) relate to the design of reinforced, prestressed, post-tensioned concrete and composite structures, and the behavior of new materials combined with concrete. Our ultimate goal is to improve design methodologies toward the construction of better-performing, more durable, environmentally compatible and economically efficient structures. We will strive to be deeply involved in the development of design models and provisions.
