Hangsoo Jeong is an architectural designer based in Seoul and New York, specializing in the rehabilitation and revitalization of existing structures.

Having completed his architectural studies at both Harvard University and Hongik University, Jeong developed a profound interest in the unique material properties and tectonic aspects associated with architecture design for retrofitting systems. This passion has driven him to attain significant professional accomplishments, including a Fulbright Fellowship, a Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies Fellowship, and the prestigious Peter Rice Prize. Today, his commitment extends beyond conventional practice, encompassing involvement in exhibitions and educational initiatives.

Jeong has gained professional experience in diverse settings, from small to large-scale projects, engaging with both private architectural studios and government institutions. Notably, he has contributed his expertise to renowned organizations such as the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), Kohn Pederson Fox Associates (KPF), and the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA).
