디지털 테크놀로지의 디자인 활용에 중점을 두고 실무, 연구, 강의를 진행하고 있다. 특히 Computational Design, Digital Fabrication, Building Information Modeling 등 디지털 디자인 방법론, 디지털 툴을 이용한 제작 프로세스, 그리고 디지털 기술의 실무 적용에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 2012년 UC Berkeley에서 석사학위를 받았다. 해안건축, 유아이에이, Perkins+Will San Francisco에서 실무 경험을 쌓았으며 현재 탈건축사사무소(TAAL Architects)에 재직중이다.
Jonghoon Im is an architectural designer, researcher, and educator. His work focuses on digital technologies for architecture including computational design, digital fabrication, and Building Information Modeling. He received his M.Arch degree from UC Berkeley in 2012. Currently, he is working as a principal in TAAL Architects. Prior to joining TAAL, he worked at Haeahn Architecture, UIA Architects, Perkins+Will San Francisco.
