He received my B.S. and M.S. in Architecture from the Seoul National University (SNU) and Ph.D. in Urban Design and Planning from the University of Washington, Seattle, U.S. Before joining the Department of Architecture and Architectural Engineering, SNU in 2023, He worked as a faculty member at the University at Buffalo (SUNY) and Myongji University. At SNU, he is teaching courses as ‘Architecture and Society’ and ‘Spatial Analysis’.
His research interests include spatial analysis, environmental behavior, and urban design, focusing on the environment-behavior interactions. As a long-term academic research goal, he is interested in finding new city forms that will come with new technologies in the future.
