우리는 바쁜 현대사회 속에 살아간다. 누군가는 학업에, 누군가는 직장생활에 열중하며 각자의 위치에서 열심히 삶을 살아가는 중이다. 그러한 바쁜 삶 속 집 앞의 공원과 같은 휴식공간, 혹은 음악, 공연과 같은 문화생활은 우리로 하여금 삶을 환기시킬 수 있는 시간을 주고, 우리가 다시 삶을 살아갈 수 있는 에너지를 얻게 한다. 그러나 금천구에는 주민들을 위한 문화생활 공간이 제대로 마련되어 있지 않고, 주민들이 거의 유일하게 이용하고 있는 ‘금나래중앙공원’이라는 큰 공원조차도 이용성이 낮은 대형 파빌리온으로 인해 공간의 효율성이 제대로 발휘되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 우리는 본 프로젝트를 통해 금나래중앙공원에 새로운 문화생활의 공간을 만들어내고자 하였다. 금나래중앙공원은 단순히 지형만을 이용한 기존의 형태를 벗어나 건축물과 공원이 결합된 새로운 형태의 공간으로 탈바꿈 되며 주민들의 삶에 활기를 불어넣는다.
We live in a busy modern society. Someone is studying and someone is working hard in their respective positions. In such a busy life, a rest area such as a park in front of our house, or a cultural life such as music and performances, gives us time to refresh our lives and gives us the energy to live life again. However, Geumcheon-gu does not have a proper cultural living space for residents, and even a large park called "Geumnarae Central Park," which is almost the only one used by residents, is not properly efficient due to the large pavilion with low availability. Through this project, we tried to create a new cultural life space in Geumnarae Central Park. Geumnarae Central Park is transformed into a new type of space that combines architecture and park beyond the existing form of simply using topography, and revitalizes the lives of residents
