As the amount of domesitc leisure activities has recently increased, the demand for so-called "hocance," a trend of enjoying relaxation in hotels and nearby areas, is increasing. Among them, the hotel that showed the largest increase was 4-5 star premium hotel, so this design aims to design a 5-star hotel that meets economic usefulness and consumer needs while securing all design elements, structural stability, and environmental illumination.
 
NAMDAEMUN-RO Hotel Seoul is a lifestyle five-star hotel with four basement floors and 22 floors above ground where visitors can enjoy all restaurants and entertainment along with 205 premium rooms designed at the redevelopment site near Seoul Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. The main entrance of the hotel is the rear of the third floor using the slope of the existing site, and when using the banquet hall, the exclusive entrance on the first floor can be used instead of the hotel main entrance.
 
Beyond the general business hotel, this hotel has a package program product that designates family and lovers as personas, and we established a construction method by arranging rooms to generate maximum profits by satisfying the maximum floor area ratio and designing optimal floors. In addition, the design using the diagrid maximizes the no-column space, securing a changeable space using variable walls at 21st-floor, and maximizing the designability of the urban aesthetics. In terms of environment, a plan to keep stable illumination of the swimming pool and underground parking lots through experimental values of various louvers and daylight ducts was proposed.
