Residence for Fluctuating City
주거를 둘러싼 상황은 끊임없이 요동친다.
가구의 변화, 인구의 변화, 주거와 공유에 관한 인식의 변화, 생활 양식의 변화 등 도시의 맥락과 관계의 변화는 가속화되고 있다. 이 과정에서 요구되는 주거는 대개 후천적으로 반응하고, 현대인의 삶과 주거 형태의 Mismatch를 발생시킨다. 이에 대응하기 위해 한국에서는 주로 건물의 수명에 따른 재개발을 통해 해결하려 하고, 대규모의 Context의 변화가 주기적으로 일어난다.
거주자들의 삶이 지속가능하기 위해서는 반복적인 대규모 변화보다는 사람들의 생활 양식에 적응하는 방법으로서 가변적이고 유동적인 형태의 도시의 변화에 대응하는 주거 시스템이 필요하다.
현대인들에게 주거는 거주 이상의 역할을 한다. 업무 등의 공적인 요소와 도시에서 향유하던 문화 프로그램들이 주거 내부로 삽입되며 주거는 삶에 있어 더 큰 비중을 차지하게 된다. 가구 구성원이 줄어들며 주거의 개성이 더 뚜렷이 드러나고, 타인에게 어떻게 자신의 모습을 드러낼 것인가와 결부되며 다층의 레이어를 요구하게 된다. 원거리의 관계보다 근방에서의 관계가 더 중요해진 현재, 입체적이고 자유롭게 변할 수 있는 Multi-Layer의 주거 단위와 이들이 서로 관계 맺기 위한 외부 프로그램들로 구성된 새로운 주거 시스템을 제안한다.
The situation surrounding housing fluctuates constantly.
Changes in the context and relationship of the city, such as households, population, perceptions of sharing, and lifestyle, are accelerating. In the process, housing required for them usually react acquiredly, resulting in mismatch in modern life and residential forms. Large-scale context changes through redevelopment occur periodically depending on the special situation in Korea to respond to this.
In order for residents' lives to be sustainable, a residential system that responds to changes in cities in variable and fluid forms is needed as a way to adapt to people's lifestyles rather than repeated large-scale development.
For modern people, housing serves more than a typical residence. Public elements such as work and cultural programs enjoyed in the city has been inserted into the residential area, and housing is going to take up a greater part in life. As the number of members of the household decreases, the characteristics of the individual housing become more evident, and when it is linked to how to reveal oneself to others, houses require multi-layered.
Now that relationships in the neighborhood have become more important than long distance relationships, I propose a new residential system consisting of multi-layer residential units that are three-dimensional and freely changeable and external programs for them to relate to each other.
