최장빈 _ 아름아름 : 소외계층 상호돌봄 주거 공동체
고령 인구가 빠르게 증가하는 시대, 노인의 주거는 단순한 거주 공간이 아니라 ‘남은 인생을 어떻게 살아갈 것인가’에 대한 기반이 된다. 그러나 개인 면적에 집중한 기존의 아파트나 다세대 주택은 예전 같지 않은 신체 능력 뿐만 아니라, 퇴직 후 여유로워진 일상, 자녀의 독립 등 노인의 삶에 찾아오는 여러 변화에 적절히 대응하지 못하고 있다. 사회적으로 노인 친화 주거가 공급되고는 있지만, 그 수가 절대적으로 부족해 주거 지원의 공백은 불가피하다. 복지의 대상이 되지 못하면서 동시에 시장의 환영을 받지 못하는 공백의 노인들이 함께 살아갈 수 있는 공동 주거를 만들고자 하였다.
As the elderly population grows rapidly, housing for the elderly is no longer just a place to live — it is a foundation for how one will live the rest of their life.
However, common housing, which prioritizes individual floor area, fails to accommodate the changes that come with aging — such as declining physical ability, new daily life after retirement, and children’s independence.
Although age-friendly housing is being provided, the supply remains limited. This project seeks to create a form of shared housing where the elderly — those who are neither eligible for public welfare nor welcomed by the market — can live together in community.
