Hernán Díaz Alonso

Hernán Díaz Alonso is director of SCI-Arc. He has spearheaded SCI-Arc’s transition to digital technologies and played a key role in shaping the school’s graduate curriculum over the last decade.

Díaz Alonso is also principal of multidisciplinary architecture office HDA-x. Among his many accolades, he was the winner of MoMA PS1’s Young Architects Program (YAP), the Educator of the Year award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the 2013 Progressive Architecture Award.
