Founded by British architect and Finnish artist Viliina Koivisto in 2012, Neon is an award-winning UK-based design studio whose work explores new territories between art, design, and architecture. Neon creates fantastical designs that provoke the bodily senses to elevate us from our daily routines. Their work has been regularly featured in numerous international publications such as dezeen, archdaily, designwanted, design boom, and others. In this lecture, Neon will present how the notion of “play” is embodied within their design process.
