The POSCO TJ Park Foundation has newly established a scholarship program for international students. We kindly ask interested students to apply for the 2026 Spring Semester International Scholarship, as outlined below.

1. Eligibility (All requirements must be met)

※ Applicants receiving the Korean Government Scholarship (GKS) are not eligible to apply.

• Incoming master’s, doctoral, or integrated master’s–doctoral students for the 2026 Spring Semester at our university, who are nationals of one of the 27 countries designated by the Foundation (see the list of eligible countries in the attached plan).

• Students majoring in humanities, social sciences, or STEM fields.

• Applicants with strong Korean language proficiency are preferred (TOPIK Level 2 or higher).

2. Scholarship Benefits

• Full tuition fee support

• Monthly academic support stipend of 1,000,000 KRW

• Health insurance support during the scholarship period

• Korean language education opportunities

3. Scholarship Period

• Master’s program: up to 4 semesters

• Integrated master’s–doctoral program: up to 6 semesters

• Doctoral program: up to 6 semesters
  ※ Continuation of support is subject to academic performance review each semester.

4. Expected Number of Recipients

• To be determined
  (Each department will recommend up to three times the number of candidates to be selected by the Foundation.)

5. Application Procedure

• Submit application form (Form 1) and required documents to the office of the department (Eunsung Lee, eunsunglee6228@snu.ac.kr).
