2025학년도 2학기 대학원생 생활지원장학금 선발 신청을 다음과 같이 진행합니다.

• 신청 자격 : 2025학년도 2학기 대학원 재학생 중 다음에 해당하는자
  • 학업과 육아를 병행하고 있는 경제적으로 어려운 학생
  • 학생 본인의 갑작스러운 사고나 질병으로 감당할 수 없는 치료비가 발생하여 학업을 이어가기 어려운 학생
  • 갑작스러운 경제적 어려움이 발생하여 학업을 이어가기 어려운 학생
  • 외국인 학생 중 부모님의 경제적 지원을 받기 어려운 학생(연 환산소득 부+모+본인 합산 5,000만원 이하)

• 선발 방법 : 대학(원) 추천자 중 심사하여 적격자 선발
  • 대부분의 등록금 및 생활비 장학금과 중복 수혜 가능
    • 중복 불가능한 장학금 : 기초학문(특성별) 후속세대 장학금, 정부초청외국인 장학금 등 타 장학금에서 중복수혜를 금하는 경우
  • 선발제외 : 휴학자(선발 및 지급일 기준), 연구 및 수료생, 유급 또는 학사경고, 징계처분을 받았거나 기타 부적격 사유가 인정되는 경우, 학점 2.4미만(신입생 적용 제외)

• 제출 서류 (* 대상자만 제출)
  • 장학신청서(포털 mySNU 장학신청 화면에서 작성)
  • 가족관계 증명서
    • 한부모 가정일 경우 부 또는 모 기준 가족관계증명서(상세) 제출
  • 소득증빙 관련 서류
    • 2025학년도 2학기 학자금지원구간 통지서(한국인의 경우 학자금지원구간 산정 필수)(산정 후 대출을 받지 않는 것도 가능하니 학자금대출 필수 신청)
    • 학자금지원구간의 경우 최대 8주까지 소요될 수 있으므로 산정 기간 유의
    • 대출 신청기간 : 7. 2.(수) ~
      • 외국인의 경우 1년의 소득을 증빙할 수 있는 기관에서 발행한 서류 공증 제출 (통장사본 인정불가)
  • 경제적 어려움을 증빙할 수 있는 서류
  • 학생 본인의 진단서, 입원학인서, 진료 영수증 등 증명서
  • 기타 장학신청서 사유를 증빙할 수 있는 서류 (퇴직증명서, 폐업증명서 등)

• 지원 금액 : 1인당 최대 300만원 (월 50만원, 매월 25일경 지급)
  • 9월 및 10월분은 2025. 10. 24.(금) 지급

• 신청 기간 : 2025. 8. 25.(월) ~ 9. 8.(월) 18:00

• 신청 방법: 포털 mySNU 통해 신청 (신입생의 9. 1.(월)부터 온라인 신청)

붙임 1. 생활지원장학금 신청안내 및 신청서

The application process for the Graduate Student Living Support Scholarship for the 2nd semester of the 2025 academic year will be conducted as follows.

• Eligibility : Current graduate students enrolled in the 2nd semester of the 2025 academic year who meet any of the following criteria

  • Students experiencing financial problem while balancing academic work and childcare.

  • Students facing unexpected medical expenses due to sudden accidents or illnesses that make it difficult to continue studies.

  • Students experiencing sudden financial difficulties that hinder their ability to continue studies.

  • International students whose parents are unable to provide financial support (combined annual income of both parents and the student is KRW 50 million or less).

• Selection Process

  • Eligible applicants will be selected after review among those recommended by their college or graduate school.

  • Can be received concurrently with most tuition and living expense scholarships.

    • Scholarships not eligible for duplication: scholarships that prohibit concurrent benefits, such as the Next-Generation Basic Academic Scholarship (by discipline) and the Korean Government Scholarship for Foreign Students (GKS).

  • Ineligible applicants: students on leave of absence (as of selection and payment dates), research or program-completed students, those with academic probation or disciplinary action, and other disqualifying conditions. Applicants with a GPA below 2.4 are also excluded (new students exempted).

• Required Documents (only for applicable applicants)

  • Scholarship application form (to be completed on the mySNU portal).

  • Family relationship certificate.

    • For single-parent households, submit a detailed certificate based on either the father or mother.

  • Income verification documents:

    • For Korean nationals: 2025-2 Student Loan Support Level Notification (calculation required even if no loan is taken).
      Calculation may take up to 8 weeks; please apply early.
      Loan application period: from July 2 (Wed).

    • For international students: notarized proof of one year’s income issued by a relevant institution (bank account statements not accepted).

  • Documents proving financial hardship (e.g., medical certificate, hospitalization certificate, medical receipts, retirement certificate, business closure certificate, etc.).

• Scholarship Amount

  • Up to KRW 3,000,000 per student (KRW 500,000 per month, paid around the 25th of each month).

  • September and October payments will be made on October 24 (Fri), 2025.

  • August 25 (Mon) – September 8 (Mon), 2025, 18:00

• Application Method
  • Apply via the mySNU portal (for new students, online application is available from September 1 (Mon)).
