This course consists of lectures and field trips on modern and contemporary cities and housing in Korea for students majoring in architecture. This course aims to broaden the understanding of Korean cities and housing from the 19th century to the 1970s Korea, which has changed rapidly through contact with Western modernity since the opening of the port, colonial period and liberation, the Korean War and rapid growth and to grasp the meaning it has in our current city and housing culture.
