강구조의 극한강도 산정을 위한 하한계와 상한계의 기본 개념의 이해를 위하여 가상일의 원리를 이용하여 평형조건과 기하학적인 조건식의 구성방법을 소개한다. 또한 소성힌지의 개념, 접합부, 극한상태의 변위산정 법을 소개한다.

For the estimation of ultimate loads of steel framed structures the equilibrium method and work methods are introduced based on the lower and upper bound theorems with the virtual work method. The concept of plastic hinges and design of joints, the displacement at ultimate loads are also discussed.

Detail

This class provides the lower and upper bound approaches for design and anlysis of steel frames at ultimate based on the theory of plasticity. The virtual work concept has to be understood for the limit analysis in terms of equilibrium systems and displacement systems.
