Architectural Design Theories 2
건축디자인이론 2는 건축물에서 나타날 수 있는 새로운 잠재성을 모색하고, 이를 자신이 설계하는 공간과 형태를 발전시킬 수 있도록 이론을 형성하고 건축적 주제를 구체화해 간다. 주제는 개인화, 글로벌화, 기술의 발전, 문화적 또는 도시적 스토크, 지속가능성, 도시와 건축의 시간의 문제 등에 가급적 집중한다. 이 강의에서는 공통의 테마에서 파생된 주제를 문헌연구, 이론 형성 등 세 단계를 걸쳐 발표, 토론한다.
In Architectural Design Theory 2, students explore new potentials in architecture, and develop architectural subjects in reference to their design interests. Recommended topics include individualization, globalization, technological advancement, cultural or urban stock, sustainability, and time in architectural and urbanism. This lecture consists of a series of students’ presentations unfolding in three stages to address certain common themes. Readings come from the self-selected articles about contemporary architectural and urban design for sustainable society. Students lead discussion sessions and write both synopses of presentations and a longer theoretical text.
이 과목은 건축의 사회적 가치가 어떻게 변해 왔으며 지금 어떤 가치를 갖고 있는지 탐구하는 수업이다. 건축의 연관개념인 예술, 공간, 기능, 구조 등이 사회변화에 따라 어떻게 변모해 왔는지 고대 그리스시대부터 현대까지의 문헌 연구, 연관 사례 분석을 통해 이해한다. 그 이후 그 개념들이 결국 건물을 통해 어떻게 구현되었는지 실제 사례 분석을 통해 확인한다.
학생들은 이 수업을 통해 자신의 관점으로 건축의 가치를 확인하는 방법을 체득할 것을 기대한다.
